INDEPENDENT SOFTWARE PROJECT / IN DEVELOPMENT

Filmmaking
begins with a
conversation.

XB AI Studio explores a simpler way to direct AI-assisted filmmaking: one conversational workspace for organizing ideas, planning shots, working with references, and iterating on results.

01 / THE PROBLEM

Generating a beautiful frame is one thing.
Directing a coherent film is another.

Creative work involves far more than prompting a model: blocking, camera placement, eyelines, lighting, character consistency, assets, timing, and revisions. When each task lives in a separate tool, the workflow becomes difficult to manage.

02 / AN ALTERNATIVE APPROACH
ONE WORKSPACE / MANY RESPONSIBILITIES

More directing.
Less searching for buttons.

The central design decision is a conversation-first workflow. Rather than making a creator navigate every tool manually, the workspace is intended to coordinate production tasks from natural-language direction.

MODULE / 01 INTERACTION MODEL
⌘

A conversation as the control surface.

The conversational interface is intended to connect project tasks and filmmaking tools. Its purpose is to make the experience accessible to creators who do not want to learn a complicated application first.

MODULE / 02 AI-ASSISTED DIRECTING
✥

Give the shot a sense of direction.

Planning dimensions include eyelines, lighting, framing, camera positions, blocking and motion. These directorial controls are an area of ongoing development and verification.

CAMERA / LIGHT / PERFORMANCE ↗
MODULE / 03 SPATIAL PREVISUALIZATION
◇

Test the scene before asking AI to render it.

Simple 3D blockouts can help inspect where characters stand and move, and how cameras relate to the action. Previewing intent does not guarantee a generative model will follow it exactly.

MODULE / 04 SHOT CONTINUITY
⌁

Preserve what should remain consistent.

Shot-to-shot planning includes reference management, first/last-frame strategies where appropriate, and checking narrative states. A cut or scene change should not blindly inherit the previous shot's framing.

REAL WORK / NOT A RENDERED CLAIM

Try the independent browser demo below. It includes a scripted sample conversation, a lightweight interactive staging diagram, and an authentic eight-second Blender proxy-scene preview from the development project.

The conversation is scripted for this portfolio demo. The staging diagram is an illustrative browser reconstruction and does not control the original Blender render. The embedded video is the authentic local eight-second proxy-scene preview.
● TRANSPARENCY NOTE

The Blender preview is an authentic local render using proxy figures, not a finished film. The conversation is a scripted sample, the staging sandbox is illustrative, and first/last-frame controls are presented as a development concept. No live AI generation or API connection occurs in this demo.

DESIGNED TO OPEN UP CREATION

Useful tools,
not bigger barriers.

XB AI Studio is a work in progress. The aim is not to claim flawless AI filmmaking, but to reduce the complexity of directing and managing it. Reliability, predictable action, visual consistency, and production cost remain important engineering challenges.
